Finally I’ve come to the prescribed end of my Rapid Brow trial which I received at a PR event at the start of the summer. I say prescribed because you’re supposed to see results in 60 days, but its by no means the end point because I will be keeping at it and using it to maintain my brows. According to clinical trials on 61 participants 61% of them saw a 108% improvement in the appearance of brow density in 60 days.
I first started plucking my brows when I was 16. I actually remember on my 16th birthday, by sisters friend from New York virtually annihilated off my at least 3/4 of my brows. I didn’t know any better and I sat there like a lemon wincing while she plucked fervently and then harshly pencilled them in. What can I say? It was the Nineties. My mum nearly killed all 3 of us. Me for being a lemon, my sister for allowing her friend to destroy by brows and the friend, for simply breathing!
Anyway, since then, describing the bit after the arch as sparse would be an understatement. Getting any hair to grow there has been beyond impossible. Thank God for Rimmel Eye Brown pencil in black brown. I always have a few of these pencils lurking and they’ve been good for balancing my brows out.
Anyway, I really feel that Rapid Brow has made a difference to me and yes, I would recommend to anyone to who has over plucked like me. It’s a brow enhancing serum that comes in a mascara style tube and you brush on a clean face morning and night. Simple enough, if you remember. Have to say, I forgot a few times, but I applied at least once a day. There’s no particular feeling to it. Its wet when you put it on and then dries in a couple of minutes.
There’s a lot of science in the product - an exclusive complex called Hexatin 2 Complex with proteins and peptides, but in something like this, like most people, there’s only on question – does it work? I think it does and you can see for yourself. Density has improved and I’m less sparse on my right brow.
